What Is Salsa?

What is Salsa?

The Signal and Lighting Structural Analysis (SALSA) program was developed to aid in the design of traffic strain poles and their associated foundations, high mast foundations and mast arm pole foundations. Analysis is based on AASHTO Standard Specifications for Structural Supports for Highway Signs, Luminaires, and Traffic Signals, 2013 Edition.

Who is Salsa for?

SALSA is for all Kentucky Transportation Cabinet members and individuals working in conjunction with the Cabinet. A login and password are required to use SALSA and must be obtained from Traffic Operations. Contact Jessica Goodwin (jessica.goodwin@ky.gov).
